Set against a backdrop of increased living costs and with Cornwall Council unfairly passing the whole burden of the government imposed Council Tax Scheme to people already on low incomes, we all know the proposed welfare reforms are deeply unfair.

Disability Cornwall are now requesting our MPs to lobby the Government via their respective disability groups, to carry out an Equality Impact Assessment of the cumulative impact of the so called welfare reforms on disabled people, their families and carers.
