Independent, confidential, and free information and advice service available to people living with a long term health condition or disability, families, carers and professionals in Cornwall.
DIAL can provide support across the full range of disability related enquiries:
Money and Debt
Health and Social Care
Volunteering, Training and Employment
The telephone service is available Monday to Friday between 10am and 3pm and has an answering machine where you can leave a message outside these hours. We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day.
We also provide face to face support by appointment only, at our outreach venue in Hayle every Wednesday.
Please note: We do not currently provide drop in facilities. Please call our advice line on 01736 759500 if you need face to face support.
Our advisers are available for community talks to local groups where we can raise awareness of our services and provide information & advice relevant to your group. Please get in touch if this is something you are interested in.
We are audited for the Advice Quality Standard and all advisers are professionally trained and qualified. We are one of only two organisations who hold the AQS in Cornwall, alongside the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Please have a look at our comprehensive range of self-help information guides and tools, which are available below.
I hope DIAL continues - they are able to give information on many confusing aspects regarding benefits.
Keep up the good work helping people with complicated benefit forms.
The adviser I saw was brilliant, attentive, kind and thoughtful and couldn't have done more for me, thank you so much.
I have been through hell in the last two weeks and wish there were more organisations like yours – you have never let me down, I would like to say a huge big thank you for being there at my time of need.
