Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust needs your support to become a Foundation Trust
Being a Foundation Trust would give their staff and community greater freedom and control over the way service are run. Financially it enables us to keep surpluses to invest in new and improved services. Foundation Trusts are still part of the NHS and provide free healthcare.
To become a Foundation Trust they need to sign-up lots of members. Anyone can be a member if they are aged 11 or over. Members can vote for the Council of Governors or stand as a Governor.
As a member you will: • Have a say in what they do • Helping to keep our hospitals under local control • Receive regular newsletters • Save money with the NHS discount scheme. Trust members can take advantage of the NHS discount scheme. They simply log onto (www.healthservicediscounts.com) and register as a foundation trust member and they will receive regualr emails with discount offers.
