E024: A female Personal Assistant is required to support a lady with some health issues living in the Liskeard area.

 

Role to include assistance with personal care and daily living activities such as shopping, cooking, preparing meals, cleaning and other household tasks, accompanying her to appointments, and helping her engage in social activities in the community.

 

The extra essentials...

  • Carer will need to be patient and compassionate; have a good sense of humour and be comfortable around dogs.
  • Previous experience would be beneficial, but is not essential as training can be provided to successful candidates.
  • A DBS (formally CRB) check is required, (funded by Cornwall Council) and 2 references to be provided.
  • A full clean driving licence is required.
  • £9/hour
  • Shifts: Monday—Friday, 12:30—13:30, 17:00—18:30 (3 additional hours to be used flexibly)

E028: A Personal Assistant is required to work 14 hours a week flexibly to support a gentleman living in the Saltash area. Hours worked will be Monday to Friday, however some weekend work may be required.

 

The extra essentials

You will be required to support the gentleman with his day to day life and managing his Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, with accompanying conditions. No experience is necessary but a willingness to learn, be creative, very active and use your own initiative is essential. You will require your own transport. A full enhanced DBS check will be completed, and training may be provided. Rate of pay will be above the national minimum wage.

E043: A Personal Assistant is required to support a lady living in the Torpoint area.

 

The extra essentials

You will be required to support the lady on weekdays as follows: two days from 12pm to 6pm and three days from 10am to 4pm.

JM-AL-0036: Two female Personal Assistants are required in the Looe area of Cornwall to assist a disabled lady with food preparation and cooking meals, personal care, shopping and daily living tasks.

 

The extra essentials...

Hours of work: 26 hours per week. Please note some evening and weekend work may be required.

Experience is preferred although not essential, and training can be provided. Candidates must possess good communication skills, have a positive attitude and be prepared to work flexibly.

Clean driving licence and use of own vehicle essential, as the successful candidate will be required to support the lady to attend appointments.

You will be required to have a DBS check, which would be arranged at the employer's expense. Confirmation of the position is dependent on suitable reference, and a clear DBS check.

Hourly rate: £9
