We deliver bespoke training packages in partnership with equality specialist consultants who collectively have many years of experience working with both the voluntary and public sectors. Disability Cornwall can offer a broad scope of training services including disability equality and a full range of equality & diversity awareness training. We also specialise in organisational development focusing on the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Duty (2011).

Further training concerns how to engage and involve the very people that organisations seek to support or the service users themselves and will demonstrate to organisations how they can become more 'user led.'

The DC100

The DC100 is an e-based consultation body of disabled people and carers countywide. This service is available to organisations who wish to obtain user views and opinions on any specific issue.

We can work with you to develop a questionnaire based on your needs and collate and report on the findings.

This is particularly useful for market research and service development.

Focus Groups

We can bring together groups of people for workshop based consultation to generate discussion and obtain expert feedback.

Consultation Analysis

Our resident researcher will interpret the data collected and provide a detailed report from the subsequent analysis of your survey, or the feedback from a Focus Group, to enable you to gain the most positive outcomes from your consultation

Mystery Shopping

To ensure your services can be easily used by disabled people, from information to reception areas. Feedback on the experience will be collated into a summary report.

Equality & Diversity Consultancy

We also work in partnership with a specialist professional equalities consultant who can further assist with; workshops, toolkits, monitoring systems, equality impact assessments, policies, strategies and action plans.

A website which is available to everyone and easy to naviagte can increase traffic and online spend and therefore become a vital tool for your business. We can test all functions of your website and provide recommendations for accessible improvements.

Disability Research

We can examine a broad range of subjects, specialising in user satisfaction and service evaluation, which can include data collection, compilation & examination, findings, conclusions and report writing.
