Our mission is to empower voices, raise awareness, and advocate for disability rights, ensuring that everyone is seen, heard, and valued in our community.
What We Do
DISCOVER Voices is more than a media channel, it’s a movement powered by lived experience, grounded in the principle of ‘Nothing about us without us.’

Podcasts: Honest stories, practical advice, and expert insight on topics like navigating direct payments, championing accessibility, and celebrating community strength.
Videos and Documentaries: Inspiring, authentic content that shines a light on Cornwall’s vibrant voluntary sector and advances the cause of disability justice.
Collaborations: Working with partners such as NHS Cornwall & Isles of Scilly, Cornwall Council, Kresen Kernow, and Man Down, we amplify vital voices and raise awareness of issues that matter.

The Legacy of DISCOVER
DISCOVER Voices was born from the proud legacy of DISCOVER Magazine, a publication that, for over 25 years, informed, represented, and empowered people with a long-term health condition or disability across Cornwall.
From 1997 to 2023, the quarterly magazine produced 49 editions, sharing powerful stories, useful information, and lived experiences that helped build understanding and drive inclusion.
Today, that legacy continues digitally through DISCOVER Voices, a podcast and media network carrying the same mission forward: to amplify voices, share knowledge, and celebrate community strength.
